Convulsions, trismus, tetanus, hiccough. jerks; of head, and twitchings of various parts; of arms and fingers. Frightful contortions. Spasms move downwards with terrific violence, with sudden shocks through body or head, then rigidity or shrieks; then prolonged unconsciousness; OPISTHOTONOS, and frightful facial distortions; with bloody foam from the mouth, then utter prostration; spasms are renewed by touch, by noise, loud talking. Epilepsy. Spasms of diaphragm, hiccough; of gullet. Muscles become rigid. Cerebro- spinal meningitis. Concussion of brain. Troubles arising from shaving. Catalepsy. Does not remember what has happened, does not recognise anybody but answers well. Violent, strange desires. Sensation of internal chill. Moaning and howling. Does absurd things.

  • Twitching and spasmodic jerks 
  • Convulsions violent, with frightful distortione of limbs and whole body, with loss of consciousness of opisthotonuos, renewed by slightest touch, noise or jar.
  • Bending of the head backwards or opisthotonos
  • During convulsive attack, there is frightful distortion of face, limbs or of whole body
  • Puerperal convulsion with frequent suspension of breath for a few moments, as if dead, upper part of the body most affected, continue after delivery.
  • Epilepsy with swelling of the stomach as from violent spasm of the diaphragm, lockjaw, loss of consciousness and distortion of the limbs, frequent during the night, recurring first at short then at long intervals.
  • When reading the letters seem to turn, go up or down or disappear.
  • In children during dentition or from worms, there is spasm or convulsion of clonic or tonic type, grinding of teeth or gums, compression of the jaw as in lockjaw.
  • Abdonrmal appetite for chalk and indigestible things, for coal or charcoal.
  • Injurious chronic effects from concussions of the brain and spine, especially spasms, trismus and tetanus from getting splinters into flesh.
  • Pustules which run together, forming thick yellow scabs on head and face.
  • Eczema with no itching. The exudation from eczema forms into hard lemon coloured crust

  • State of delirium and mental excitement with singing, dancing and funny gestures.
