NERVOUS mental and bodily symptoms which are produced by this drug may be due to the presence of round worms or reflex from abdominal irritation, and affections of the digestive tract. It is a children’s remedy; children who are big, fat, rosy and scrofulous; they stiffen out; when looked at, during cough or when they become cross. Child is restless, tosses about.  An irritability of temper, variable appetite, grinding of teeth, and even convulsions, with screams and violent jerkings of the hands and feet, are all within its range of action. Twitching. Spasms; due to worms; unilateral. In spasms, children throw arms from side to side. Whole body is painfully sore to motion and touch; bruised soreness. The Cina patient is hungry, cross, ugly, and wants to be rocked.They are hungry and greater the hunger greater the emaciation. Complaints concomitant to yawning, which comes on whenever someone yawns. Sour smell of body esp. children. Shocks as from pain. Patient will jump suddenly as though he felt pain. Trembling; with shivering, when yawning. Convulsions, with consciousness. Paraplegia, with unnatural hunger. Chorea.  Skin sensitive to touch.

Abdomen, distended. Anaemia. Anus, irritation of. Asthenopia. Asthma. Bronchitis. Borborygmi. Chorea. Colic. Convulsions. Cough. Dentition. Diarrhoea. Enuresis. Eyes, affections of. Hydrocephaloid. Intermittent fever. Leucorrhoea. Neuralgia. Remittent fever. Scarlatina. Sight, affections of. Spasms. Strabismus. Twitchings. Urine, milky. Whooping-cough. Worms.

Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

• Adapted to children with dark hair, very cross, irritable, ill-humored, want to be carried, but carrying gives no relief.
• Does not want to be touched, cannot bear you to come near it.
• Aversion to caresses, desires many things but rejects everything offered.
• A worm remedy having symptoms such as grinding of teeth, constant digging & boring of nose, screaming during sleep, indigestion, nausea or vomiting, nocturnal enuresis, pain in abdomen & mental irritability extending even to convulsions.
• Children suffering from worms, pitiful weeping when awake, starts and screams during sleep, grinding the teeth.
• Face pale, sickly white and bluish appearance around mouth, sickly with dark rings under the eyes
• One cheek red, the other pale.
• Canine hunger, hungry soon after a full meal, craving for sweets and different things, refuses mothers milk,  alternating canine hunger & complete loss of appetite
• Desire for sweets & various indigestible things
• Clean tongue
• Even carrying does not give relief to the patient
• Grits teeth during sleep. Choreic movements of face and hands.
• Stool: White mucus, like small pieces of popped corn, preceded by pinching colic.
• Child throws arms from side to side. Nocturnal convulsions. Sudden inward jerking of fingers of right hand. Child stretches out feet spasmodically
• Child gets on hands and knees in sleep; on abdomen. Night terrors of children; cries out, screams, wakes frightened.
• Urine: turbid when passed, turns milky and semisolid after standing, white and turbid, involuntary
• Cough dry with sneezing, spasmodic, gagging in the morning, periodic, returning spring and fall.

MODALITIES:

• Worse:  looking fixedly at an object, from worms, at night, in sun, in summer.
