A general remedy for cramps. Colicky pains in pelvic organs. Superconscious of internal sexual organs. Female symptoms most important. Often prevents miscarriage. False labor-pains. Spasmodic and congestive affections, dependent upon ovarian or uterine origin.  Violent spasmodic, nervous effects esp. in the females dependent upon the ovarian or uterine origin. Pains make her so nervous, she cannot keep still. Haemorrhages. Suited to tall, slender, fair-haired or dark hysterical subjects. Left sided symptoms. Feels sick all over, in pelvic complaints. Paralytic conditions; after convulsions.

• Bearing down pains before.
• Ovarian region feels heavy and congested.
• Vertigo worse descending stairs.
• Terrible crushing pain worse left parietal region with a sensation as if head opening and shutting.
• Constant nausea better by eating. No appetite.
• Excruciating crampy colicky pain or heavy aching in hypogastrium; better menses.
• Frequent profuse urination; during headache; menses; haemorrhages etc. Cannot hold water on coughing or walking.
• Aching in sacrum and pubes, with pain in anterior muscles of thighs spasmodic and membranous dysmenorrhoea.
• Leucorrhoea; thick, white, blood streaked worse during stools. Consciousness of internal sexual organs.
• Prevents abortion when it is given before the membranes are broken. Uterine pains extend around the pelvis often extending down the thighs. Pelvic organs turning upside down.
• Menses too late, scanty, lasting a few hours, offensive in odour, with cramping pains, cramps extend down thighs. Smarting and itching of genitals.
• Faint on attempting to sit up.
• Suffocative spells at night worse cold, damp. Infantile asthma.
• Lumbago better walking with a cane pressed, arms across the back.
• Pains in the back end in a cramp in uterus or go down the thighs.
• Cramps in calves, before menses.
• Tettery spots on cheeks, arms etc

MODALITIES:

• Worse: Fright. Before menses. Cold-snow, air. Lying on left side. Sudden jar. In close room.
• Better: Rest. Pressure. Open air.
