Weakness or debility common to all acids is felt more by the action of this acid esp. in DIGESTIVE TRACT, giving a very relaxed feeling in the stomach, with a craving for stimulants. Weakness; is out of proportion to the disease; from some deep seated dyscrasia. It affects the blood and blood-vessels, causing haemorrhages; violent, of thin, black blood from all the orifices. Veins (of feet) distended. Purpura haemorrhagica. Removes long lasting black and blue spots, with soreness and stiffness of the part, after trauma; follows Arnica. TREMBLING, INTERNAL; wants to be held. Sourness; of the body; of stomach. Suited to topers; old persons esp. women; in climacteric years; weak children with no other complaint. Profuse acrid or stringy discharges. Parts feel stiff and tight. Pains increase gradually and end abruptly. As of a blunt plug being driven in. Great painfulness. Pains felt during sleep. Disappear on waking. Gnawing pains. Lead poisoning. Gangrene following mechanical injuries. Burning, darting pains. Shocks as from pain. Ulcers become red and blue and become painful. Writer’s cramp. Tremor and weakness; everything must be done in a hurry. Hot flushes,  followed by perspiration, with trembling. Tendency to gangrene following mechanical injuries. Take 15 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician

• Adapted to Light haired old people especially women; Flushes of heat in climacteric years.
• Aphthous ulcers in the mouth with offensive breath. Aphthae; during protracted disease, esp. in children with marasmus.
• Sour erructations with heartburn. 
• Craving for alcohol and aversion to the smell of coffee, Sour vomiting, Desires fresh food. There is a sensation of relaxed feeling in stomach. 
• Debility with a weak feeling in abdomen, with dragging into the hips and small of back. 
• Headache with right sided neuralgia. Sensation as if brain was loose in forehead and falling from side to side.
• skin complaints due to bad effects of mechanical injuries, with bruises and livid skin. 
• Chilblains with gangrenous tendency.
• Gums bleed easily.
• Offensive breath. Pyorrhoea.
• Destruction of teeth in diabetes mellitus.
• Bloody saliva from mouth.  
• Carbuncles, boils and other staphylococcic and streptococcic infections.
• Hiccough; of drunkards; nausea; with shivering.
• Vomiting, sour; of drunkards; worse lying on left side. Vomits mucous instead of food. 
• Weak, relaxed feeling at stomach worse after stools. Drinks chill the stomach, and rejected unless mixed with liquor. 
• Toothache, more violent in evening, in bed, worse by cold air, better by warmth, generally with tearing digging, or gnawing.
• Tongue, horribly swollen, swallowing impossible, covered with wrinkled white skin, tip and edges red, denuded at tip and intensely red. Breath very offensive.
• Chronic alcoholism, vomiting in morning, acidity of stomach, burning in oesophagus and stomach, sour, acrid or foul eructations.
• Hemorrhoids feel damp and are painful to touch, itch violently, pain at stool as if rectum were torn to pieces, stools like sheep's dung, piles in hard drinkers.
• Haemorrhage of black blood from all outlets.

• MODALITIES:

• Worse: from excess of heat or cold in forenoon and evening. Towards evening. Excessive heat or cold. Touch. Pressure. Sprains. Lifting arms. Drinking cold water.
• Better: from warmth, and lying on affected side, Hot drinks. Hands near head. Moderate temperature.
