This remedy acts upon URINARY ORGANS, producing diuresis and removing the dropsical effusions. Heart’s action is depressed. Digestion is disturbed. It is a useful remedy for general dropsies, with or without organic disease. Swelling of every part of the body, with scanty urine and sweat, feels if he could only sweat he would get well. Dropsies are usually accompanied by digestive disturbances_nausea, vomiting, and great thirst; drowsiness and difficult breathing, may accompany these symptoms. In acute hydrocephalus the child lies in stupor, with automatic motion of one arm and leg. Paralysis of left side; one eye motionless other rolling. Weakness is marked. Dropsy; after haemorrhage; quinine. Uterine haemorrhage. Scanty discharges. Acute hydrocephalus. A diminished frequency of the pulse is a prime indication. This is one of our most efficient remedies, in dropsies, ascites, anasarca and hydrothorax, and urinary troubles, especially suppression and strangury. In the digestive complaints of Bright's disease, with the nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, difficult breathing, it will be found of frequent service. The dropsy is characterized by great thirst and gastric irritability. Arrhythmia. Mitral and tricuspid regurgitation.

Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

• Excretions diminished, especially urine & sweat
• Dropsy with thirst but water disagrees, causing pain or vomited when associated with heart, liver & kidney disease
• Hydrocephalus with open sutures, stupor, sight of one eye lost, constant & involuntry motion of one arm & leg
• Face pale, covered with cold sweat, in diarrhoea. Dry; lips, mouth.
• Amenorrhoea in young girls with bloating or dropsical extension of abdomen & extremities
• Metrorrhagia with continued or paroxysmal flow & fluid or clotted blood, nausea, vomiting, palpitation , pulse quick feeble when mooved
• Cough short & dry or deep & loose during pregnancy
• Thirst, but water disagrees, vomits every drink or food at once, (dropsy).
• Urine; copious; scanty. Bed wetting in old men.
• Pulse, slow, fluttering, irregular or intermittent. 
• Sensation of sinking in the pit of stomach
• Diarrhoea is worse immediately after eating. Food or water is immediately ejected, though hungry.
• Peculiar dryness of mucous membranes of nose with sensation of stiffness, followed by secretion of thick yellow mucus, preceded in some cases by a thin, irritating discharge
• Urinary organs torpid, urine scanty, but flows as easily as oil. Urine copious and almost involuntary from relaxed sphincters.
