It acts on MUCOUS MEMBRANES, causing CATARRHAL process, with a tendency to haemorrhage and ulceration; the catarrh may be anywhere throat, stomach, uterus, urethra; which is characterised by thick, yellow, acrid, ropy discharge; mucus is found in the stools, in the urine, hawks up mucus, hence it can be called a mucus remedy. Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

• Hawks yellow, viscid mucus from posterior nares and fauces, ulcersation, after mercury or cholrate of potash, syphilitic angina.
