It produces symptoms accompanied by SUDDEN DEBILITY; and lack of reaction esp. in chest and heart affections. It affects the MIND AND BRAIN causing, bluntness of special senses. Cyanosis. Coldness not better by warmth. Weak sphincters. Long lasting faints. Sensation of falling down; in brain, in abdomen; in heart etc. Epilepsy; clonic spasms of all limbs, with paralytic weakness. Twitchings. Chorea; emotional; with constant jerks, cannot keep still; speech indistinct after every excitement, gasping for breath. Gasping before, during and after spasms. Nervous collapse. Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

• Cough; tickling, spasmodic, nightly; of phthisis; short dry of cardiac origin; worse lying down. Bloody, or scattered with bloody dots; gelatinous expectoration. 
• Bluish discoloration of the skin with difficulty in breathing, worse by sitting.
• Pain in chest worse by exercising.
• Holds hands over the heart; as if there were some trouble there worse by any exercise. 
• Small and feeble pulse with grasping for breath and palpitations.
• Pulse, weak, variable, slow, or irregular.
• Clutching at heart and palpitation.
• Spells of deep sleep, with snoring and stertorous breathing.
• Nightly tearing in vertex. As if a cold wind were blowing on head. As if brain were falling. Brain feels contracted and painful.
• Falling down sensation of a lump in abdomen from above the navel to small of back worse talking or over-exertion. 
• Cancer of rectum; with bleeding of bright red blood.
• Urine; retained, suppressed, involuntary; with palpitation and suffocation, and fainting.
• Clubbing of fingers.
• Pain in uterus, with cancer; with oozing of bright blood, with gelatinous clots; better sleep. Faints with coldness during menses. Burning and stinking in and below mammae.
• Dyspnoea, with sensation that he is unable to raise the chest walls; better lying down.

MODALITIES:

• Worse: Sitting up. Exertion. Cold. Fright. Stooping.
• Better: Lying with head low. Eating. Sleep. Open air.
