Ammonium causticum: Convulsive cough accompanied by plenty of loose mucus. Difficult respiration. Loss of voice. Burnng raw spots on throat

Belladonna: Convulsive cough attack, hollow and barking cough, dry mucus membranes. Great dryness and burning in the throat and on the tongue.Inflammation and swelling of the throat, of the velum palati, of the uvula, and of the tonsils; suppuration of the tonsils.Inflammation of the throat, with sensation of a lump, which induces hawking, with dark redness and swelling of the velum palati and tonsils.

Bryonia: Harsh and dry cough with pain in the chest. Sore throat, with hoarseness and difficult deglutition.  Cough, with feeling as if chest would fly to pieces; presses his head on sternum; must support chest. Croupous and pleuro-pneumonia. Expectoration brick shade, tough, and falls like lumps of jelly. Tough mucus in trachea, loosened only with much hawking. 

Chamomilla: Convulsive cough,catarrh and hoarseness with accumulation of tenacious mucus in the throat,dry cough,chiefly in the evening and at night. Rattling of mucus in child's chest.

Coccus cacti: Hypersensitivity of the mucosa of the pharynx. Spasmodic cough with viscous glairy expectorations. Suffocative cough; worse, first waking, with tough, white mucus, which strangles. Spasmodic morning cough. Whooping cough attacks end with vomiting of this tough mucus.

Corallium rubrum: Violent attack of convulsic cough with choking fit.  Cough with great sensitiveness of air-passages. Continuous hysterical cough. Feels suffocated and greatly exhausted after whooping-cough.

Cuprum aceticum: Spasmodic cough, viscous mucus, dyspnea. Whooping-cough, better, swallow water, with vomiting and spasms and purple face. Spasm of the glottis. Dyspnœa with epigastric uneasiness. 

Drosera: Convulsive cough with cyanosis and suffocation, spasmodic asthma. Spasmodic, dry irritative cough, like whooping-cough, Clergyman's sore throat, with rough, scraping, dry sensation deep in the fauces; voice hoarse, deep, toneless, cracked, requires exertion to speak.

Ipecacuanha: Dry asphyxiant cough with glottis spasm, nausea and emesia. Chest seems full of phlegm, but does not yield to coughing. Bubbling rales. Suffocative cough; child becomes stiff, and blue in the face. Whooping-cough, with nosebleed, and from mouth.

Thymus vulg: Expectorant. Respiratory infections of children; dry nervous asthma, whooping-cough, severe spasms but little sputum.

• Whooping cough: In the beginning of the treatment frequent doses, every 1 hour 10 drops in some water, or one teaspoon (5ml) of syrup. Advisable is, to alternate from hour to hour the cough syrup and the cough drops. After attenuation of the graveness and frequency of the fits of coughing (generally in 2-3 days) take the medicine every 2 hours or as prescribed by the physician 
•  In the treatment of non-specific catarrhs, following whooping cough, take 4-6 times daily 10-15 drops in some water, or one teaspoon (5ml) of syrup or as prescribed by the physician 
• Acute bronchitis and laryngo-pharyngitis: Every 2-3 hours 10-15 drops or one teaspoon of syrup or as prescribed by the physician 

• In influenza, use also R 6
