• Pain in the head, sneezing,
• continuous thick white discharge from the nose or discharge from the bronchial tubes due to an irritation and severe inflammation of the mucous membranes.
• Fever, white or grey coated tongue.

Kalium muriaticum : sub-acute catarrhal affections and inflammatory states, fibrinous exudations, white or grey coating at the base of the tongue, stuffy cold, phlegm white & thick. sinus pains, ear pains, sore throat, a hard cough with white mucus, and sore throats as well. Cold, stuffy, in head, with whitish grey tongue ; with white, non-transparent, or yellowish discharge. 

Natrum muriaticum: Internal soreness of nose Violent sneezing coryza, Loss of smell and taste,Violent, fluent coryza, lasting from one to three days, then changing into stoppage of nose, making breathing difficult. 

Ferrum phosphoricum: Ulcerated sore throat. first stage of inflammatory febrile conditions with cold in head and throbbing sensation. Eyes are inflamed with burning. There may or may not be initial otitis. 

Kalium sulphuricum : Obstructed nose, mouth breathing,yellow discharge from the nose. Application in later stages of inflammation with yellow mucus and profuse discharge, nose, feeling of obstruction, engorgement of nasal, pharyngeal mucous membrane.
