Willmar Schwabe India Argentum Nitricum 30 CH (30 ml)

This drug affects the MIND causing neurotic effects. By its action on Cerebro-Spinal nerves, it produces incoordination, loss of control, and loss of balance, mentally and physically.  Very characteristic is the great desire for sweets, the splinter-like pains, and free muco-purulent discharge in the inflamed and ulcerated mucous membranes. It is a useful remedy for those persons who are dried, withered up and prematurely old, with trembling and weakness. Sensation as if a part were expanding and other errors of perception are characteristic. Hysterical nervous persons. Emaciation is progressive. Ascending paralysis. VIOLENT PAINS; LIKE DEEPLY STICKING SPLINTER; or sharp, shooting like lightning, grinding or radiating; cause starting; extending down back or legs. Pains increase and decrease gradually, Ulceration, with much bloody yellow pus. It is a convulsive remedy; attacks of epilepsy; from fright. worse during menses, at night; pupils are always dilated for a day or two before the attack, and followed by restlessness and trembling of hands. Periodical trembling of the body. Explosive belching especially in neurotics. Upper abdominal affections brought on by undue mental exertion. Paraplegia Myelitis and disseminated sclerosis of brain and cord. Intolerance of heat. Sensation of a sudden pinch. Destroys red blood corpuscles, producing anæmia. Loss of voluntary motion. Sinking downward from head. Ill effects of; eating ices, onanism and venery. Tobacco. Symptoms appear on the left side. Conjoined mental and digestive symptoms. Unable to walk with closed eyes. Pains cause starting. Suitable to businessmen, students, brain workers. Examination funk. Desire to talk. Errors of perception. Perversion of senses.

Take 5 drops in half cup of water 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician OR

Medicate the globules and take 4-6 globules 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

• Acute or chronic diseases from unususal or long continued  mental exertion.
• Apprehension when ready for church or opera, diarrhoea sets in
• Time passes slowly, impulsive, wants to do things in a hurry, must walk fast, is always in a hurry.

• Nervous headache; with coldness and trembling worse mental exertion, dancing, better tight bandaging.
• Sensation of a splinter in throat on swallowing. Dark redness of throat.
• Impotence. Erection fails when coition is attempted.
• Tongue has prominent papillæ; tip is red and painful. 
• Leucorrhœa profuse, with erosion of cervix bleeding easily.
• Uterine hæmorrhage, two weeks after menses; Painful affections of left ovary.

• Acute granualar conjunctivitis, scarlet-red, like raw beef, discharge profuse, muco-purulent.
• Ophthalmia neonatorum: Profuse, purulent discharge; cornea opaque, ulcerated; lids sore, thick, swollen; agglutinated in the morning.
• Eye strain from sweaing worse in warm room and better in open air, diseases due to defective accomodation.
• Craves sugar, which disagrees. Child is fond of it, but diarrhoea results from eating.
• Belching accompanies most gastric complaints 
• Gastralgia; pain occurring in small spot, radiates in all directions, worse slightest pressure. 
• Diarrhoea; emotional; noisy worse immediately after eating and drinking, after sweets. Fluids go right through him. Stools; shreddy, mucus, turning green, like chopped spinach.
• Incontinence of urine day and night. Urging to urinate, urine passes less easily and freely.
• Epilepsy caused by fright or occuring at menstrual period
• Colic, with much flatulent distention. Stitchy ulcerative pain on left side of stomach, below short ribs.
• Coition painful in both sexes, followed by bleeding from vahina.
• Metrorrhagia, with nervous erethism at the change of life; also of young widows and childless women. 
• Great longing for fresh air
• Chronic laryngitis of singers. The high notes causes cough 
• Trembling of hands, cannot write. Numbness of finger tips; ring and little fingers. Fingers half clenched, cannot be separated. Lassitude and weariness of forearm and legs, with trembling.
• Convulsions preceeded by great restlessness.
• Chilly when uncovered, yet feels smothered if wrapped up.
• Boys complaints after using tobacco
• Horrible dreams of snakes and sexual gratification.

MODALITIES:

• Worse: at night. from emotions. Fear or fright. suspense. In room; in shut places. Mental strain and worry. Sugar. Lying on right side. Looking down. Drinking. Crowds. Warmth in any form. Cold food; ice creams. Before and during menses. Riding. Thinking intently.
• Better:  fresh air; cold; pressure. open air. Cold bath. Hard pressure, Motion. Eructations. Bending double.
