Metallic copper is one of the most important remedies, where the diseased conditions ‘Strike in’, on account of the non appearance or suppressions of eruptions and the discharges. It affects the NERVES, of the cerebro-spinal axis and muscles, causing SPASMODIC EFFECTS; convulsions and cramps of violent form. Convulsions may be either tonic or clonic; start in the knees, toes or fingers and radiate over the whole body; with piercing cries, twisting of the head to one side; trismus followed by headache, spasmodic laughter, shivering, deathly exhaustion cold perspiration etc.; epilepsy; at night, during menses. In epilepsy the patient falls with a shriek, passes urine and faeces; headache follows after spasms or a group of symptoms followed by the appearance as if the patient were dead or in a state of ecstasy. Convulsions of children, during dentition; children lie on abdomen and jerk the buttock up. Spasms, with blue face and clenched thumbs. Cramps may occur in the chest; (angina pectoris) behind the sternum, toes, fingers, calves_where the muscles are knotted better stretching the leg out; in soles etc. extorting cries. Jerking, during sleep. Pains worse touch and motion. Pains are pressive; as from a blow being broken; racking darts through the whole body. Chorea from fright periodical. Symptoms appear in groups; periodically or recurring at short intervals. Complaints begin on left side. Nervous trembling, with acute senses. Continued weakness. Poor reaction. Latency. Ill effects of mental and bodily exhaustion; loss of sleep. Blueness. Easy relapses. The patient is hypersensitive; every drug overacts without curing. Collapse. Paralysis of isolated muscles. • Involuntary jerking and twitching of muscles with coldness of hands.
• Symptoms disposed to appear periodically and in groups.
• Mental and physical exhaustion from over-exertion of mind and loss of sleep, attacks of unconquerable anxiety.
• Sudden cramps in palms, calves and soles with great weakness of limbs.
• Epileptic attacks where the aura begins in knees.
• Clonic spasms which begins in the fingers and toes and spreads over entire body.
• Paralysis of tongue, imperfect, stammering speech.
• Epilepsy: aura begins in knees and ascends worse at night during sleep, about new moon at regular intervals, from getting wet, from a fall or blow upon the head.
• Metallic taste in the mouth with flow of slimy saliva.
• While drinking, the fluid descends with a gurgling sound.
• Bad effects of re-percussed in brain affections, spasms, convulsions, vomiting, of suppressed foot sweat.
• Paralysis and spasms of tongue with constant protrusion and retraction of the tongue.
• Difficult speech with stammering.
• Dizziness accompanies most of the complaints where the head falls forward on chest.
• Ulcers, itching spots, and pimples at the folds of joints.
• Cholera morbus or asciatic cholera with cramps in abdomen and calves of legs
• Convulsions with blue face and clenched thumbs.
• Cramps in the extremities, pain, soles, calves with great weariness of limbs.
• Cough has gurgling sound, as if water was being poured from a bottle.
• Cough better by drinking cold water.
• After pains: severe distressing in calves and soles.

• Worse: before menses; from vomiting, contact.
